Dragon's Lair Sword

gil hibbens dragon's lair fantasy sword

Gil Hibben designed the Dragon's Lair Fantasy sword with a Blue leather wrap. Kit Rae designed the Avaloch sword that looks similiar and does have a Damascus steel blade and wrapped the sword handle with red leather.

Hibben's name is stamped into it along with a production number. Of that I purchased for my own as seen below. Unfortunately this sword is no longer available in the retail market. If you do find the Gil Hibben Valiant sword it too is made of 420 stainless steel.

As far as fantasy swords go most of them come unsharpened. I had the Gil Hibben Dragon Lair sword professionally sharpened on one edge because it came with two un-sharpened edges. The sword sharpener asked? What side do you want the blade on?

I looked at the sword for about 5 seconds thought, then said, "Sharpen the side with the toothfang on it that way I will always know the direction of my blade."

The United Cutlery GH5016D Gil Hibben Dragons Lair Sword Damascus appears very similiar to the Dragon Lair fantasy sword above and the Valiant sword. United Cutlery claims that this Gil Hibben Dragon's Lair is made with Damascus steel. If any of United Cutlery products are defective in either the material or workmanship, United Cutlery will repair or replace the affected parts at no charge. Following receipt of the damaged or defective items.
