Gil Hibben is the creator of knives seen in the motion pictures "Rambo III", "Rambo" (2008), "The Expendables" (2010), "The Expendables 2" (2012) and numerous other movies. He is also the "Official Klingon Armorer" having created the Klingon knives and swords seen in Star Trek movies.
Gil Hibben was contacted by Sylvestor Stallone to make a Bowie knife for the first Rambo Movie and another when Rambo III came out. After the release of the movie, Hibben began a long-term partnership with United Cutlery and releases a new version of the Rambo III knife every year. United has made versions of Hibben's Kenpo Knife, Alaskan Guide Knife, and other throwing knives. Hibben previously partnered with knifemaker Dr. Rob Charlton of Damascus-USA to produce smaller Damascus steel versions of the Rambo Bowie. The film industry decided against the prototype and ended up going with a different idea. Hibben only manufactured two of these knives. Hibben has one and Stallone has the other. Gil's second design the now famous Rambo III knife pictured below.
